Virat Kohli continued his fantastic form as the Indian Test Team captain to lead India to a massive 208-win run against Bangladesh as multiple records were also made along the way.

India commaned the match with a dominating display to march on to their 19th consecutive undefeated test and their 6th successive series win under their talismanic captain, Virat Kohli.

The win was majorly accredited to Virat Kohli as he scored a double ton and broke multiple records of his own during the match, as well.

India had set a staggeringly high target, notching up 687 runs for 6 wickets in the 1st innings, owing to a brilliant double century from Virat Kohli and individual hundreds from Wridhiman Saha and Cheteshwar Pujara to mount a challenge for Bangladesh.

Mushfiqur Rahim tried his best to climb the mountain and scored a brilliant century in their first innings while staying not out till the end but the effort went in vain as Bangladesh collapsed on 388 for 10.

It was then India’s turn to make things tougher for their opponents as they scored 159 for 4 and declared the match.

It was that time when Bangladesh saw a daunting task in fron of them and tried to pull a miracle but were all out for 250. Virat Kohli had led the team yet again to an astounding victory as the captain.

A lot of praise also went to Ravichnadran Ashwin as he increased his wicket tally and had a fantastic second innings, taking 4 wickets at an economy rate of 2.39.

The win gives Virat Kohli is 8th consecutive test series victory as the test squad captain with the focus of the team now shifting entirely to the home series against Australia, which is scheduled to start in a few days.

Unlike other teams, Australia have always had the reputation of being tough opponents on any surface, be it the ones with vicious turning quality or straight-up batsmen oriented pitches.

But then again, the team’s effort can never be neglected as the squad looks much more organised and balanced under the captaincy of Virat Kohli, with players like Ajinkya Rahane and Wridhiman Saha getting the nods and performing extremely well compared to MS Dhoni’s favorites Suresh Raina and Rohit Sharma.

With the top order looking in shape, it’s natural for the team to be confident about their cards but it’s never good to be complacent against a team like Australia.

But hey, for now, the celebrations seem appropriate.

Here’s hoping for a cracker of a series against Australia!
