A Delhi start-up by the name of “Enable Travel” is making dreams come true for people with disability who long to travel but the lack of amenities and the lack of empathy towards their disability makes it a difficult and cumbersome process.

The company provides a fleet of wheelchair accessible vans, specialised equipment (like wheelchairs that can cleave through water and hiking chairs), experienced guides, caregivers, escorts and sign language interpreters.

Debolin Sen, head of Enable Travel, reportedly said in an interview with Economic Times that, “Our aim is to target the top selling and popular destinations from an inbound and domestic market. To begin with, the Golden Triangle of Delhi-Agra-Jaipur, followed by popular destinations such as Mumbai, Goa and Bangalore to name a few. As we continue our journey we will add more itineraries that are accessible and make provisions for making it accessible.”
