New Delhi, India, December 11, 2024: On 10th December 2024, New Delhi witnessed a remarkable celebration of creativity and fashion with the International School of Design (INSD) at its helm. The institute has hosted the spectacular ‘Gala Extravaganza,’ marking a pivotal moment in India’s design industry. This showcases the remarkable potential of 70 emerging designers from across the nation.
The gala featured distinctive collections from various INSD centres, each representing a unique creative vision:
- JP Nagar Centre presented “Chroma of the Soul” by designers Shubha, Vani N, Kiran T, Hema Bindu, Kasturi, Divya N, Priya Sharma, Harshith S Gowda, Supritha, and Kruthi, under the guidance of Centre Director Ms. Pratibha.
- Coimbatore Centre unveiled “Dark Clouds” by Pooja P, Madhumitha C, Swathi Sri R S, and Akshara A P, led by Centre Director Mr. Devendran.
- Visakhapatnam Centre showcased “Metonia” through the works of Sabira Khan, Sana Khan, Sri Vysnavi Mantha, Marella Sanjeev, and Maade Prasanthi, directed by Mr. Hema Sundar.
- INSD Head Office Corporate Branch presented multiple collections including “Spectral,” “Frame of Life,” and “Gothic,” featuring designers like Mr. Vallimmai, Sameer, Somya Mittal, Tanisha Duvedi, Shivi Shukla, Yatika Sharma, Bhumita, Ridhi, Abhijeet Sariya, and Steffi Sihag.
- Andheri Mumbai Centre introduced “Auturn Aeterna” by Iqura Shaikh, Prachi Mantri, Kaavya Bhat, Sharwari Purkar, Isha Juneja, Kusum Kumari, Shreya Paradkar, Mahek Kanojia, and Arshad Shaikh, under Directors Ms. Amitta Gupta and Mr. Vishaal Gupta.
- Bhilai Centre presented “Walking Hunt” featuring designers Dhara Wadiya, Sejal Wadiya, Pemin Sahu, Kirti Komal, Vaishali Chandrakar, Jyoti, Risha Bhonsle, Lisha Sahu, Veena Kosare, Himani Chandrakar, Jagriti Golhi, Suman Sahu, Himani Sahu, Jasmeet Kour, Nilisha Bhasin, Simrandeep Kour, Manjulata Sahu, and Shaziya Mabood, led by Ms. Sandeep Kaur and Mr. Vinod Soni.
- Kolkata Centre delighted audiences with “Whispers of Nature” by Diya Biswas, Riya Chowdhury, Mimosa Maji, Soumili Nath, Rajkumari Susana, Mehek Agarwala, Sayantani Dey, Priyanka Singh, and Mousumi Biswas, directed by Mr. Naveen Soni and Mr. Sumit Soni.
- Dwarka Centre offered “Modern Monotone” by Diksha, under Centre Director Mr. Praveen, while Ahmedabad Centre presented “Rabari Reveria” by Hina Desai, directed by Mr. Aseem.
