On September 19, 2025, SCMS Pune is all set to host its annual TEDx event at the SVC Auditorium, bringing together all firestarters and visionaries. It’s going to be a day of thought-provoking ideas, inspiring stories, and creative performances. The theme of the year is “ Unscripted”, celebrating people who choose to walk the road less taken.
TEDxSCMSPune stands true to its image, being a space “ where ideas meet”.
A platform for students and the community to engage with voices of ambition and minds that constantly innovate. It is more than just a speaker series; it is an opportunity for the youth to explore, reflect, and be inspired.
This year’s edition features a lineup of distinguished leaders from a diverse set of fields: 1. Dr. Ramakrishnan Raman, Vice Chancellor of Symbiosis International University (SIU) 2. Dr. Vidya Yeravdekar, Pro-Chancellor of SIU
- Ranjit Bajaj, Director, Minerva Football Club Academy
- Nathan SV, Country Leader at PwC and former Partner & CTO at Deloitte
- Akshaj Sood, Co-Founder and MD of Richelon
- Prahlad Sonar, Senior Customer Success Manager at Vercel
Each of them brings a unique story of navigating through paths “ unscripted” that led to remarkable journeys, embodying the very essence of this year’s theme.
The day doesn’t just end at speeches and stories, but also features a musical performance by “Encore”, followed by “Step Up”, lighting the stage on fire with their moves.
Students from sister institutions such as SID, SCMC, etc. will also be attending the event, promising to create an environment of dialogue, creativity, and exchange.
Why does it matter?
A world where straight lines and regimes are praised, TEDxSCMSPune celebrates having the courage to walk the unexplored path. It offers students a chance to witness how visionaries turned detours into documentaries and step-backs into stepping stones!
