This Republic Day under Azaadi ka Amrut Mahotsav is indeed a special one! Makar Sankranti, National Start-Up Day, National Tourism Day, and the impending Republic Day on January 26th have all contributed to an incredibly fruitful start to the year.
And like every year, it’s heartening to see the R-Day preparations although under the blanket of COVID-19. The full dress rehearsals for the 73rd Republic Day have commenced with all other preparations for the event.
Among other things, this year at Rajpath, contingents from all three wings of the Army and central paramilitary forces will march in front of all dignitaries, including the President, Prime Minister, and Defence Minister.
This year, Rajpath will have 25 tableaux, including 12 states and union territories, 9 Union Ministries and Departments, two from DRDO, and one each from the Army, Air Force, and Navy.
