Organized annually by SCMHRD’s Management Committee, Yashasvi is a flagship event that embodies the institute’s essence of managerial professionalism. The name Yashasvi, derived from Sanskrit, means “To Be Successful,” and this spirit of ambition and triumph drives the event’s ethos.
Yashasvi inspires participants to set bold goals, embrace challenges, and believe that success is achievable despite the odds. It celebrates innovation, leadership, and management excellence, and brings together thought leaders, industry experts, and aspiring managers to explore the future of business.
Yashasvi unfolds in two distinct phases:
Phase I: Panel Discussions & Leadership Talks (November 18-20, 2024)
The first phase of Yashasvi features a series of insightful panel discussions and leadership talks. Industry leaders and academic experts come together to discuss current business trends, challenges, and opportunities. These sessions provide invaluable learning experiences, while the Leadership Talks offer young professionals inspiration and guidance to navigate the dynamic industry landscape.
Phase II: Case Study Competition (January 2025)
The second phase of Yashasvi is the highly anticipated Case Study Competition, where students from premier B-schools across India compete to showcase their management and analytical skills. With more than 1,000 teams from top institutions such as IIMs, XLRI, MDI, JBIMS, and IIFT, the competition presents an opportunity for aspiring managers to test their knowledge and strategic thinking in solving real-world business challenges.
The theme for Yashasvi 2024 is Manthan Momentum: Churning Ideas into Reality, an exploration of the powerful process that transforms innovative ideas into tangible outcomes. The theme captures the essence of creative evolution—from conceptualization to execution—where ideas are refined, challenged, and ultimately brought to life.
It embodies the spirit of unrelenting creativity and pragmatic innovation, highlighting the energy and determination required to turn abstract concepts into actionable solutions that drive real-world impact.
Yashasvi is not only a platform for learning and networking but also a competitive arena where students from various B-schools across India showcase their skills.
In this phase, case studies are presented across a wide range of fields, including HR, marketing, finance, operations, analytics, and infrastructure management & development. These challenges provide a unique opportunity for participants to engage with complex, real-world business scenarios, testing their acumen, creativity, and strategic thinking.
