New Delhi [India], December 11: Tina Singh Walia, a renowned Image Stylist and Wellness Coach, has an inspiring journey of transformation and resilience. Raised in a loving and supportive family, Tina faced significant challenges growing up. She was often teased and called “Big Ethel” due to her tall, skinny frame, unibrow, cystic acne, and hirsutism caused by PCOS. These struggles deeply affected her self-esteem and confidence.
Her challenges intensified during her 12th-grade board exams, where comfort eating led to a weight gain of 14 kilos. However, Tina’s determination to change her life was unstoppable. She pursued a degree in Economics Honours, excelling academically by topping both her first and final years.
In her pursuit of self-improvement, Tina lost the extra weight through crash dieting and over-exercising. While this led to increased popularity and new friendships, it also triggered eating disorders that had long-lasting effects on her physical and mental health. Despite these hurdles, Tina remained steadfast in her commitment to growth and wellness.
Today, Tina Singh Walia channels her personal experiences into empowering others. As an Image Coach, Stylist, and Wellness Expert, she helps individuals transform their lives by embracing a holistic approach to beauty, confidence, and self-care. Tina’s work focuses on creating a positive image from the inside out—helping clients improve their appearance, boost self-esteem, and adopt a healthier, balanced lifestyle. Her journey is a testament to the power of perseverance and self-love, and she is passionate about helping others discover their best selves.
Realizing her true passion, she shifted her focus to designing, styling, and makeup—fields where she found her creative outlet and a deep sense of purpose.
Tina launched her own retail stores for women, which quickly became a success. Her unique designs were embraced by celebrities and were featured in prominent magazines, further establishing her as a respected designer. By this time, Tina had married her college sweetheart and chose to take a sabbatical to focus on raising her two children.
As her children grew older and began to fly the nest, Tina felt a renewed sense of purpose and a desire to pursue something that would keep her constructively occupied. At 39, she took a leap of faith and enrolled in a course that would shape her future. By the age of 40, Tina had become an internationally certified Image Consultant and Soft Skills Trainer, marking the beginning of a new chapter in her life.
At 48, Tina is now a leading figure in the world of image consulting and corporate training. She has worked with prestigious organizations such as HCL Healthcare, Indigo Airways (where she headed the Poise and Grooming Vertical), Kotak Life Insurance, HP Petroleum, and ASK Wealth Management. Her expertise in image management, grooming, and soft skills has transformed the professional lives of countless individuals.
Today, Tina is an ICF Certified Life and Wellness Coach, as well as a Certified Master NLP Practitioner. With a massive following on Instagram, she shares her knowledge and empowers women on topics ranging from wellness to image management, behavior, communication, and etiquette.
