Helen and her relationship with screenwriter Salim Khan is well documented and has been the topic of many gossip columns, talks and more. The two meet and over the course of time fell in love, eventually getting married in 1980.
However, the controversy came from the fact that Salim was already a married man to Salma Khan and had three children already, namely Salman Khan, Arbaaz Khan and Sohail Khan.
Some people did not like the moral stance of taking on a second wife and during a 1990 interview with Filmfare Salman Khan also reportedly said that his mother was hurt by his father’s actions but also that despite it all Helen had become part of the family nonetheless.
Now, in a new interview with Arbaaz Khan called ‘The Invincibles’ on Bollywood Bubble, Helen being the second guest talked more about their family situation and her relationship with Salma and more.
