New Delhi, February 13: Honorary president of Modern Pythian Games  Sahil Seth, an IRS officer on Saturday launched the ‘Delhi Pythian Games’ in the presence of Mr. Ram Niwas Goel, the Hon’ble Speaker of Delhi Legislative Assembly and Mr. Bijender Goel, Founder, Modern Pythian Games. 

The Opening ceremony is structured on the upliftment of the arts and culture around the world. After the Olympics, it is considered the second most important game that comes with an entirely new hope to amalgamate multiple structures that encourage and boost tourism, which also will help to open new opportunities for artisans and associates. 

With the opening of the ceremony, many board members were nominated and Manoj Tiwari, a Member of Lok Sabha was nominated as a brand ambassador for the Delhi Pythian Games. During the announcements, Sahil Seth quoted, “It is an exciting moment for all of us as, as it is a noble responsibility and helps in promoting art and culture around the world. I congratulate every selected member and also Mr. Manoj Tiwari for being a part of a such global cultural movement”

Sahil Seth has always been part of social causes and is known as a young influencer. He always thinks about the growth of the nation and encourages the young generation of India to grow by providing an acute platform for better outreach. Pythian games act as a unified global platform that establishes the unified bond between the nation with the exchange of arts, culture, games, adventure, entertainment, martial arts, and air sports through competitions.

The opening ceremony was filled with many famous government dignitaries and senior officers including H.E. Mr. Dilshod Akhatov, Ambassador of Uzbekistan; Mr. Panos Tsafos, Greek Ambassador; Ms. Vasiliki Tsiana, Greek Embassy; Prof. Vasileios Syros, Greek Chair- JNU; Mr. B.H. Anil Kumar, IAS (KAR 87) President, Pythian Council of India; Major General B.K. Sharma, Director of United Services Institute of India, and Sameep Shastri, Grandson of former PM Lal Bahadur Shastri were present along with many delegates from the Greece embassy, and other senior diplomats. 

The ceremony was celebrated by extraordinary performances by Kavi Anil Agravanshi (Poet), Mr. Mohan Muntazir (Shayar), and Mr. Satish Pathak (Flute player). The performance was surely an admirable moment, adding to it Sahil Seth quoted, “the performance by the artists was truly astonishing and brought great hope to all the players who are taking part. I along with my whole team are excited about the games and deliver great wishes to all who are taking part in this unified global platform.
