Amid the ongoing standoff between India and Canada after Canadian Prime Minister Justin Trudeau’s baseless allegations regarding India’s involvement in the Khalistani terrorist Hardeep Singh Nijjar’s killing, Canadian politicians, consisting of Trudeau’s MPs, and the state media has come forth regarding the issue.
Interestingly, his remarks came just a few days after Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi raised the issue of Khalistan and anti-India activities in Canada on the sidelines of the G20 Summit.
In fact, External Affairs Minister S. Jaishankar slammed Trudeau’s government for providing a “safe haven” to the Khalistan terrorists. However, the Canadian PM’s inaction justifies that he is siding with Khalistan and their movement.
Though India has outrightly rejected Trudeau’s claims and thrashed him for baseless allegations without providing solid evidence, let us have a look at what the media and politicians have to say.
