ACM Club BMU is proud to present HackBMU 2020, a 24 hour, open-themed hackathon, brought to you by Devfolio, Wolfram Language, Creative Tim, and Girlscript Foundation at 67th Milestone, the annual techno-cultural management fest of BML Munjal University.
HackBMU is focused toward promoting innovation, entrepreneurship, and networking among all future hackers. The event will host upcoming engineers and developers from all over India to create mobile, web, and hardware hacks for an intense 24-hour session.
HackBMU seeks to provide a welcoming and supportive environment for all to develop their skills. And as such last year, HackBMU 2.0 garnered huge attention with 20+ teams from around the country. Also, the event aimed to close the gender gap in hackathon participation and encouraged female participants to join up by reserving seats especially for them. The response was overwhelming, and a huge chunk of the participants were women.
Now, for the third consecutive year, the team at HackBMU are aiming for new and greater heights and to interact with more people and making it a memorable and enjoyable event.
The prizes at HackBMU run-up to worth ₹20 lakhs+ with an overall cash prize of ₹50,000. The event has something for everyone attending the hackathon.
The registration is free of cost. Don’t wait, just start registering as seats are limited. Also, don’t worry if you are registering as an individual. The HackBMU team will help you form a team at the event considering your strengths, needs, and wants. The HackBMU team is also providing free transportation from IFFCO Chowk.
So, mark your calendar for the weekend of 15th and 16th February, register individually or as a team, and come to BML Munjal University, for the most creative 30 hours that you’ll spend this year. You also get to experience the thrilling performance of Ritviz and Maninder Buttar.
