February 12: Nicholas Bloom, an economics professor at Stanford University, recently gave his predictions about the future of work. He believes that there will be three primary trends in the future – those working from a work setting, remote and hybrid models. Covid-19 has significantly affected how we work, and some of the work models that have become popular during the pandemic will continue towards the future.

CEO and founder of New World Events, Michael Alf, has been ready to answer the call for a working world where people work and gather for events in a digital or hybrid format.

Alf has been following up on how people can successfully engage in an online space for many years. He is a former employee of Capgemini, both in Europe and Australia, and started exploring virtual events in 2015 with his book ‘Virtual Summit Formula’. In the book, he explores ways people can plan, prepare, and execute a virtual event to help build their company.

Today, through New World Events, he seeks to give people the chance to have the best digital and hybrid event experience. With the world heading more into this direction of event planning, New World Events will have a tremendous impact on the business world.

Positioned for success

Alf speaks highly of his New World Events team and their work at an international level. The company has its own digital home where they meet and discuss projects. They allow people to meet up in a global headquarters that is always open. Their customers can also access the virtual workspace from anywhere.

From its inception, his business has been formatted to be like a global or remote business. He created a team based in six countries during 2020. But given that it is a pandemic, they have not met in person. Nonetheless, they are able to work successfully as a team.

“It is the Digital Home – a place where you can go online and feel at home. It is visually appealing, not a simple website or membership site but something ‘real.’ It is based on our event experience and looks and feels like your team’s office if you are in Bali, Thailand, Estonia, or somewhere else,” shares the innovative Michael Alf.

Epitomizing the future of work

They are ready to tap into the full potential of the future. At New World Events, Alf and his team continue to research and learn how to make the best of technology to help organizations solve their problems for a safe and efficient digital or hybrid workspace.

Alf and his team are looking forward to all the opportunities to help people have a terrific virtual work experience, especially as more companies maximize digital possibilities.
