Fake Friendly Fridays is a section where we pick a famous personality and throw fake questions at him/her and in return, we receive fake answers. Why should you not take it seriously? Because it is fake.
If you still didn’t get it: This is a fake interview written purely on the basis of the author’s imagination of how the actual interview would have been if we got the chance to interview these famous (some, for all the wrong reasons) personalities in real life. In short, just have a good laugh!
Hello everyone, your wait for the weekly dose of entertainment is over because we are back with yet another fun episode of Fake Friendly Fridays with ED Times.
ED Times: Today, we have a very special deshbhakt amongst us who voluntarily gave up his citizenship. Yes, you all guessed right! Let’s hear it for the man of the moment – Akshay Kumar.
*Akshay Kumar enters*
ED Times: Welcome Akshay! We are super excited to have you here with us today.
Akshay Kumar: *Smiles with a nod*
ED Times: So, being a part of the one privileged lot, how are you and your family keeping with everything that’s been going on around us?
Akshay Kumar: Well, as soon as the second wave hit the country, we left and spent some quality- time with each other as a family, in the Maldives. Of course, you can understand that it’s been a very difficult time for us.
ED Times: Yes, of course. I believe you when you say it has been difficult for you and your family, even though it isn’t like you had to die of hunger or shortage of oxygen.
Akshay Kumar: *Nods with pride*
ED Times: We heard that you got covid positive despite your exotic holiday, so hope you are better now.
Akshay Kumar: Yes, I am fine now. Twinkle and the kids have been my support system during this time and of course, with all my fans praying for me I was bound to recover this fast.
ED Times: Of course, though we are ignoring how privileged you are for affording a hospital bed in an extravagant hospital, moving on… so we were all wondering what happened to the old Akshay Kumar whom we all loved?
Akshay Kumar: I was paid to kill him. *smirks proudly*
ED Times: Oh, we believe you!

ED Times: For quite a few years now we have noticed that you are only doing nationalist movies and we couldn’t help wondering why is that?
Akshay Kumar: Well you see I want the people of this country to love me and I’m insecure about my nationality since I am Canadian now.
ED Times: Yes about that, why did you suddenly choose to become a Canadian citizen?
Akshay Kumar: I was bored. I wanted some change in my life. I just wanted to try something new. And it happened to be the only thing so I went ahead with what life had to offer.
ED Times: Fascinating *rolling eyes after being confused and mindblown*
ED Times: Why are you involved with ABVP and what did you gain by promoting them during Padman’s promotions?
Akshay Kumar: I wanted a tax deduction and our beloved Prime Minister, may God bless him, told me if I did this for him it would be beneficial for me.
ED Times: You call yourself a deshbhakt. So, what all have you done for the country?
Akshay Kumar: My patriotic movies? *snorts arrogantly*
ED Times: Oh, of course, my bad *smiles awkwardly*
ED times: Would you like to share what upcoming projects you are working on?
Akshay Kumar: I am currently working on three movies – Atrangi Re, Bachchan Pandey, and Bell bottom. Hope you all will love it.
ED Times: Woah! Can’t wait for them and I am sure everyone is very excited for them as well!
*Audience cheers and claps*
Akshay Kumar: *smiles giddily*
ED Times: Thank you so much. It was wonderful having you here. I hope you had a wonderful time as well. Wishing you more success and happiness in life. Stay well and covid free.
Akshay Kumar: Thank you it was a pleasure being here.
ED Times: Thank you everyone for joining us today. We hope you had fun and will be back for another Fake Friendly Friday with us.
