Bollywood has long been a battleground for gender debates, and Mrs. is no exception. While some praise it for highlighting the silent struggles of women in marriage, others see it as a one-sided attack on men.
The film has sparked heated discussions, particularly among Gen Z men, who hold contrasting views on whether it champions empowerment or leans into so-called “toxic feminism.” Here’s what they have to say.

The Verdict
If nothing else, Mrs. has sparked an important conversation— one that goes beyond the usual “feminism vs. patriarchy” debate. For some, the film is an eye-opener, forcing society to acknowledge the invisible burdens women carry. For others, it’s an oversimplified portrayal of marriage that unfairly villainizes men.
Perhaps the real question isn’t whether Mrs. is feminist or toxic but why stories about women’s struggles are so easily labeled as one or the other.
