New Delhi [India], March 13: On the occasion of International Women’s Day, a special medical conference and award ceremony was organized in New Delhi by the Akhil Bharatiya Chikitsak Association (ABCA). The event brought together doctors, healthcare professionals, and experts from across India to discuss key healthcare topics and recognize excellence in the field of homeopathy and holistic medicine.

The program was held on 8 March 2026 at Karthiyayani Auditorium, New Delhi, where a Continuing Medical Education (CME) session focused on awareness, diagnosis, and management of Autism. The conference aimed to spread awareness about developmental disorders and highlight the importance of integrative healthcare approaches including homeopathy and yoga.

Dr. Vikas Singhal, who currently serves as the National Vice President of the Akhil Bharatiya Chikitsak Association, was invited to the event as a special guest. During the ceremony, he was honored with the Bharat Homeo Bhushan Puraskar 2026 in recognition of his dedication and remarkable contribution to the field of homeopathy and patient care.

As part of the program, Dr. Vikas Singhal also presented awards to several doctors and healthcare professionals, honoring them for their outstanding work and service in the field of homeopathy and healthcare. His presence and participation added significant value to the event, and his words encouraged many young practitioners to continue contributing to holistic medical practices.

Dr. Singhal also participated in the CME academic session and received a Certificate of Participation. In addition, he successfully completed the Certification in Autism & ADHD Reversal (C.A.A.R.) course, conducted by the association from 16 January 2026 to 28 February 2026, further strengthening his expertise in developmental disorders and integrative treatment approaches.

Apart from his leadership role in ABCA, Dr. Singhal is associated with several prestigious national and international medical organizations. He is a Life Member of the Indian Institute of Homeopathic Physicians (IIHP) and also a member of Liga Medicorum Homoeopathica Internationalis (LMHI), an international association of homeopathic physicians established in 1925. Furthermore, he is affiliated with the Faculty of Homeopathy, United Kingdom, a globally recognized institution promoting education and research in homeopathy.

The CME session featured lectures by distinguished experts including Biswaroop Roy Chowdhury and Dr. Namita Gupta, who spoke on autism awareness and treatment perspectives. Prof. Dr. Samir Chaukkar shared insights on autism management through homeopathy, while Dr. Neha Kathuria highlighted the importance of yoga and lifestyle practices in supporting individuals with autism.

The event was conducted under the leadership of Dr. D. C. Prajapati, National President of ABCA, along with other distinguished members of the association. The conference served as an important platform for knowledge exchange, professional networking, and promoting awareness about autism and integrative healthcare.
