With a lot of butterflies in our stomachs, we rushed to our colleges. My experience was simply amazing. Already running late, I rushed along with two of my other friends to college; bag, breakfast, register, everything in my hand. Initially boring, we all sat down introducing ourselves to each other. There were people from all over the country, majorly dominated by Dipsites. (Feels good to be one!)
Then came the fun part! The first and the foremost thing was to stand up and wish the seniors. Then was the “unofficial ragging cum intro session”. One of the girls was to ask out a senior. A guy was to do pole dance with another boy summoned to be the pole. Another 2-3 people were asked to sing and enact.
The first day was also full of people in the corridors, rushing to the canteen and basically doing nothing. We had a lot of time to interact with our seniors, all of them super sweet.
College life seems awesome: with some teachers telling you to study while the ‘awesome’ ones just telling not to worry about the attendance and manage to score 50% so that our dignity could be retained. The most amazing part is the fact that we are actually in college and can enter and walk out at our own will. There are a lot of things that you can learn and explore; lots of opportunities. It feels great to be a pert of this multi- cultural university where you can talk to and explore about many different and new things, all by yourself.
