Wednesday witnessed high voltage theatrics when Bihar chief minister Nitish Kumar resigned from his post. His timing for resignation was more than perfect.

Few hours before his public announcement, former Bihar chief minister and all time motormouth Lalu Prasad Yadav announced that his ex-cricketer son and Bihar deputy chief minister Tejaswi Yadav would not resign from his post even though there are serious allegations of corruption against him. (Not even mentioning his father’s controversial and unusual corruption record)

BJP used divide and rule policy to bring the Bihar government down. Classic BJP.

His resignation is neither sudden nor shocking. It is rather predictable and well-planned.

I would be surprised if he chose to work with a party whose character assassination has been going on for a little while now.

Why the BJP is a part of it

Ever since the JDU-RJD government has been formed in Bihar defeating the undefeated BJP, the Bhartiya Janta Party has been having a bitter and poisoned relation with Lalu and his family. Of course, they used the divide and rule policy to form and inflate cracks between both the parties and consequentially the Bihar government.

On one hand, Modi and his fellow enthusiasts would denigrate and chide RJD, Lalu and his sons, on the other hand, they would praise Nitish and hail him as a person having remarkable ability.

Nitish would reciprocate this by supporting Modi on Demonetisation, a policy not even the present government is sure of.

Not to forget Nitish recently supported Ram Nath Kovind as the Presidential candidate, disagreeing with the opposition parties.

What Happens Next

What happens next is Bihar splits.

A split in the government of JDU and RJD.

A crack having the potential to fill several prime time slots on news channels.

So let us make this simple: BJP will support the Nitish Kumar faction. Nitish Kumar will acknowledge all the support.

Nitish Kumar’s character and clean image will blossom up like a spotless white lotus surrounded by mud.

Presently, the NDA has 58 seats. JDU has 71 and RJD has 80. For forming a government, one would require a tally of 122 seats, merely.

The Congress has 27 seats. It has little to no role to play. And even if it had a role to play, the incompetent leadership wouldn’t help much.

Or maybe an election?

Even though an election seems far fetched, it could benefit Nitish Kumar. His character and PR right now is at his best and the public emotion towards him is, obviously, positive af.

But people have lost elections badly even after pulling a risky action. CC: Akhilesh Yadav and his nepotistic family.

UPDATE: Nitish Kumar will be sworn as Chief Minister of Bihar with the support of NDA.

The Significance Of This

There’ a hundred to ninety per cent chance that a political nexus between Nitish and Modi will happen and has been happening covertly. As soon as he resigned from his position, Modi tweeted and congratulated him.

But, wait, who the actual duck would congratulate a person on quitting his job under pressure?

Well, it proves that Modiji in fact fell in love with a Bihari, or maybe taking advantage of a Bihari to win the Parliament seats from Bihar in 2019 or a coalition government in Bihar assembly. A possibility? A reality I would say.

Who Would Gain The Most?

BJP, UNDOUBTEDLY.

And this guy:

Sushil Kumar Modi

The man behind all this scenario. The ghost buster.

You could see him as Bihar’s future Chief Minister or a Union Minister, perhaps.

A big reward awaits Sushil Kumar Modi.

So to conclude, Sahi Khel Gya Modi.
