1. Kawasaki Ninja H2

Kawasaki India Motors is likely to start sales of futuristic and supercharged H2 street bike in India by March 2015. The bike makes 200 horsepower at 11,000rpm thanks to an inline-four, 998 cc supercharged engine. Top speed remains at 320 kmph.

2. 2015 BMW S1000RR

German automobile maker BMW is also expected to launch their 2015 edition of their flagship model S1000R with cosmetic and mechanical changes.  Powering the new two legged beast is the same in-line-four cylinder, 998cc power mill as seen on its predecessor but BMW claims that it has re-engineered the engine to increase the power output to 200PS and torque to 113Nm with estimated top speed of around 300 kmph.

3. 2015 Yamaha YZF-R1

Featuring sophisticated MotoGP- derived technology, this new machine is a purely focused sport bike that has been inspired a lot from YZR-M1. The bike gets a new 998cc liquid-cooled engine, designed using the company’s conventional cross plane technology. The engine makes 197.3hp of maximum power at 13,500rpm along with a peak torque of 112.4Nm at 11,500rpm to propel the 199 kg weighing motorcycle and help it a top notch of 300 kmph.

4. 2015 Ducati 1299 Panigale

Rejoice Ducati lovers as the Italian motorcycle manufacturer can also come to India with an updated 1299 Panigale model for 2015. 1285cc engine that makes a whopping maximum power of 205 hp at 10,500 rpm and incredible torque value of 144.6 Nm at 8,750 rpm will be fitted in the superbike. The new electronic kit, studied specifically for the 1299 Panigale and integrated in the three different Riding Modes, makes it even more high-performance which certainly makes it a superbike to watch out for.

5. Honda CBR650F

The CBR650F uses an all-new 649 cc inline-four to produce a max output of 86 horsepower at 11,000 rpm and 46 foot-pounds of torque at 8,000 rpm. The motor is mated to a six-speed transmission. Braking is done by disc brakes at front and rear while ABS will be standard. Launch of the vehicle would happen in July.  Top speed of the new CBR can be close to 200 kmph and its mileage is expected to remain about 22 kmpl.

1. Bajaj 2015 Platina 100

Bajaj Platina 100 employs a 102cc, single-cylinder, 2-valve, DTS-I with ExhausTEC engine, which is tuned to deliver an astonishing mileage of about 96 kmpl. No, there is not typing error, the bike will actually fetch this mileage. This recently launched motorbike has a top speed of 90 kmpl as per company claims. Bajaj Platina 100 is aimed at the commuter segment buyers, who require the motorcycle for travelling in the most economical way.

2. Upgraded Honda CB Shine

The updated 125 cc bike has got all new stylish graphics, graceful side panels, new trendy visor, elegant tail light, sharp and edgy tank and trendy allow wheels. Combi-Breaking System (CBS) has also been included to improve the bike on safety grounds. Launching time frame is around March, 2015.

3. Bajaj Pulsar 160 NS

Newly-developed 160cc, single-cylinder engine will power this vehicle with about 16 ponies. Power transmission will be done through a 5-speed manual gearbox on the new bike. Telescopic shock absorber at front and gas-filled mono shock suspension at rear will manage the suspension needs and a set of front disc and rear drum brake will be employed. A 200 NS would return you a mileage of 35-43 kmpl.

4. KTM RC 125

The coolest motorcycle with a small engine is all about the RC 125. It is powered by a 125cc, 1-cylinder 4-stroke engine, water-cooled, which is capable to deliver a max power of 15 hp and allows it to reach a maximum speed of 130 kmph. It’s coupled with a 6 speed, claw shifted transmission. The new KTM gets a multifunctional LCD display showing all the basics as well as a fuel gauge, service interval reminder, gear indicator and shift lights. We expect a mileage of around 50 kmpl for the vehicle.

5. Bajaj Pulsar 200 SS

The SS200 is expected to be powered by a retuned 199.5 cc, four-stroke, liquid- cooled, single-cylinder, fuel-injected engine which produces peak power of 23.52 PS at 9500 RPM and peak torque of 18.3 NM at 8000 RPM. The engine will be mated to a six-speed gearbox with a top speed of around 140 kmph mark and mileage of about 45 kmpl. The power from the engine to the rear wheel will be transmitted via a chain set.
