Okay now 2014 is here, the year for the grand show ‘The Auto Expo’. I am getting excited for it. Aren’t you too? Well this time it will be bigger, better and grand than ever before. We are expecting some wonder launches in the expo.
The Auto Expo has provided an aid as well as Platform for both commercial and non commercial vehicles, it has given them their identities and yeah, much awaited breakthrough sales throughout the years as well. We all ought to be here to witness some thrilling and much awaited launches.

Here we take you to the Grand look of 2014 AUTO EXPO AND SOME REALLY AWAITED LAUNCHES.
MARUTI SUZUKI
Maruti Suzuki, India’s top selling carmaker plans to unveil its much talked about hatchback named ‘Celerio’. The car features 1.0 litre, 3 cylinder K-series petrol engine that churns out amazing power output of 67 bhp at 90 Nm max torque. Celerio has been boasting about its new automated manual transmission technology that allows you to drive minus the function of a clutch. Moreover, this technology is expected to deliver a better efficiency and does not add considerable weight to the car. The alpha concept by maruti which was showcased in year 2012 will launch its productive version in the auto expo of 2014. Coming to the reprised versions, Maruti is all set to launch face lifted swift and A Star. Though changes would be cosmetic it would add freshness to people’s Choice. The SX4 Crossover is also expected to be launched at the Auto Expo 2014.
NISSAN
The DATSUN brand by Nissan was in the hibernation mode for the past 3 decades. And now Nissan is all ready to launch Datsun on Indian roads which sounds very interesting. Talking about specifications, the car is expected to compete against Ertiga from Maruti Suzuki, and Mahindra Quanto. As per reports, Datsun GO+ shall be powered by Nissan’s 1.2-litre, three-cylinder petrol engine which generates about 68 PS of power and 104 Nm of peak torque. The MPV shall be mated to a 5-speed manual transmission
TOYOTA
Toyota has decided to unveil its new crossover named Etios Cross at the event. It is anticipated that the diesel version shall feature 1.4-litre D4D engine that produces 69PS of power. Whereas the 1.5-litre petrol engine shall generate about 90 PS of power. The 1.8 litre Corolla Altis was recently launched in the Indonesian market and has been stated to perform well. In India, this car would be available in two versions.
HYUNDAI
Much awaited Hyundai Grand i10 sedan will be based on the company’s iconic hatchback Grand i10 and will inherit much of the characteristics from its sibling. The former will share the same wheelbase as the latter, except for a slightly elongated body to accompany the boot.
TATA
Indian car manufacturer, Tata motors has plans to unveil its line of Falcon 4 and Falcon 5, the company even has plans to unveil it face-lifted version of Safari Model. The Specifications for these cars are keep hidden till its launch. Similarly, speculations are also made for the Mahindra Scorpio facelift.
There is alot more to it. One may say that experiences counts a ton when you it all alive. There’s alot more grand openings at the Grand Show. BMW India is all set to lauch and showcase its BMW i8 hybrid supercar and BMW iconic X7 model. Adding to it BMW will also launch much taller and anticipated 3 series. Similar launches will be seen at the Audi India pavilion as well as Jaguar and Range rover.
