You enter a shop, your eye catches a gorgeous top, your mind goes back to your wardrobe and you gleefully realize that you have a jacket that perfectly matches it. Then you see the price tag and you wonder, could I afford this top if I don’t eat for a week?

Beautiful clothes and their devilish price tags have an ability to induce a wishing session. You wish your parents were rich enough, you wish you were earning more or at least had the ability to starve yourself more, you wish brands were not such profit making machines earning  200 % profit  even after discount. Well looks like your fervent prayers have been answered, fashion has been made affordable.

A new league of Do it yourself (DIY) fashion bloggers has arrived. Their indigenous techniques and personal style have made fashion accessible and affordable to all.

So here is my pick of top 5 DIY fashion bloggers (in no particular order).

God bless internet!!

By Jenni Radosevich, this blog has some pretty interesting and simple DIY projects. Covering a wide variety of categories including male DIY, her projects are one of the best I have come across. Her book ‘I SPY DIY STYLE’ has been featured across various media platforms.

This is a unique site by Marisa Lynch. She creates new dresses from used pieces under a budget of 1$ per day. She has some innovative ideas of redoing old clothes. Definitely worth a click!
