Mumbai, November 12: Talent is a must to become successful, but talent combined with hard work and passion is an unbeatable combination as actor Anvarul Hasan Annu is showing. The actor, who hails from Rajasthan, has been a part of the film industry for a very small period but has already made a mark for himself.
His journey from a small town in Rajasthan to the world of glamour in Mumbai has been fascinating. He was attracted to acting from a very young age, but it was mostly limited to watching movies, mimicking actors, and mouthing popular dialogues. Little did the young boy from Rajasthan know then that his hobby would one day turn into his passion and profession. As he grew up, he realised his calling and decided that if he had to make it big, he would have to ultimately shift to Mumbai.
Anvarul pursued a diploma in acting from Cinelanza Film Academy in Jaipur. He then moved to Mumbai and enrolled at the prestigious Kishore Namit Kapoor Acting Institute, the training ground of many famous actors.
Despite his talent and amazingly good looks, work wasn’t easy to come by. He appeared for several auditions and had to face many rejections, but he did not give up. His break came when he was approached to star in the music video ‘Naina ni Billo’. The music video, also starring Ruma Sharma, became a super hit and has clocked more than 1.2 million views on YouTube.
More work followed and Anvarul was signed up to appear in another music video ‘Lakk Shake’ along with veteran actor Govinda’s daughter Tina Ahuja. The hip music video has received more than 5 million views on YouTube. Next up, the dashing actor is set to play the lead role in the Hindi movie “Ek Kahani”. The movie is slated to release next year. Anvarul has signed some projects which cannot be announced now due to the NDA signed with production but those projects are scheduled to release in next 2 years.
“I have worked very hard to reach where I am today. The film industry is highly competitive and it is not easy to make a breakthrough. There have been ups and downs but I have always believed that if you are willing to work hard for something, you will achieve it. I am certainly happy with the way my career has progressed so far and I look forward to continuing to entertain the audience and making a bigger name for myself,” says Anvarul.
The youngster says the key to success is connecting with the audience and striking a chord with their emotions.
