Indore (Madhya Pradesh) [India], June 16: Dr. Neetesh K Jain has been selected as a Visiting Professor at Centro Escolar University, Manila Campus, in the Philippines. Dr. Jain, who currently serves as a Professor at the Modern Institutes of Pharmaceutical Sciences in Indore, India, will be delivering online lectures on Toxicology in Cosmetic Sciences and Toiletry Preparation to undergraduate students. Dr. Jain is an experienced pharmacologist and toxicologist, having published several research papers on the subjects of Toxicovigilance, ADRs, and Drug Discovery.
His expertise in these fields will be invaluable to the students at Centro Escolar University which focuses on Identification and analysis of adverse drug reactions (ADRs) associated with the use of pharmaceuticals and other medical products, Development of tools and methods for toxicity testing, safety assessment, and risk management of drugs and chemicals, Evaluation and monitoring of drug efficacy and safety in clinical trials and post-marketing surveillance studies, Identification and characterisation of novel drug targets and therapeutic agents for various diseases and disorders, Analysis of drug-drug interactions, drug-food interactions, and other factors that can affect the pharmacokinetics and pharmacodynamics of drugs; Investigation of the mechanisms underlying drug toxicity and adverse reactions, such as drug metabolism, bio activation, and immune-mediated responses; Development of in vitro and in vivo models for drug discovery and toxicity testing, including cell-based assays, animal models, and human tissue chips; Application of advanced technologies, such as genomics, proteomics, metabolomics, and bioinformatics, to drug discovery and safety assessment.
