Why Saudi Arabia Accusing Qatar Of Terrorism Spits Double Standards?

Saudi Arabia has played a part in spreading the extremist ideology which terrorism feeds upon and accusing Qatar of the same reeks of double standards.

How ironic it is to see supporters of terrorism accusing others of being supportive to terrorists.

The current situation at Qatar spats double standards of the worst kind and gives us a reality check of the rotten internal politics in the Gulf countries.

THE CURRENT SITUATION

Saudi Arabia, the United Arab Emirates, Bahrain, Yemen, and Egypt have decided to cut all diplomatic ties with Qatar and moreover, the Saudis, Bahrain, and UAE have gone a step further to cut off land, sea and air crossings which mean airplanes flying out of Doha (Capital of Qatar)  would have to be diverted over Iran to avoid a complete blockade.

As per the papers, the five Arab nations have accused Doha of supporting and propagating terrorism. This is an absolute joke because here we see the harbourers and heavens of terrorism belittling others of the same crime.

DOUBLE STANDARDS

Saudi Arabia, the major player in the Gulf Nations has repeatedly been accused of funding terrorists alongside Qatar. WikiLeaks had previously leaked Clinton’s 2014 email where she says both Qatar and Saudi Arabia were prime supporters of ISIS.

A terrorism report was banned from being released in the UK recently because it spoke against Saudi Arabia and specifically pinpointed Saudi Arabia to be a funding and important force for terrorism in the Middle East and all over the world. Saudi Arabia is trying to blame Qatar for being the sole terrorist harboring nation in the Middle East which is baseless and hollow.

It’s well known that it’s Saudi Arabia which is the one behind the Wahhabi ideology (main source of global terrorism and behind the extremists’ ideology).

POINTS OF CONFLICTS BETWEEN THE SUPERPOWERS

Tensions started to rise between Qatar and Saudi Arabia when the group of terrorists that are being funded by both states started bickering and fighting each other in Syria around three months ago. A major reason of the gulf of trust between Saudi Arabia and Qatar started with the Qatari support for the Muslim Brotherhood during the Arab Spring in Arab.

Qatar clearly wasn’t interested over the outright hostile anti-Iran agenda during the recent Trump-led Islamic summit in Saudi Arabia. This further escalated tensions between the two Gulf nations.

THE ACCUSED CANNOT ACCUSE THE OTHER OF THE SAME CRIME

Saudi Arabia, a lot more than Qatar, has played a part in spreading the extremist ideology which terrorism feeds upon and thus the unprecedented move of cutting off ties with Qatar over the issue of terrorism reeks of double standards which are unjust and shameful.
