Watch: Why The Discovery Of Alien Life Will Mean The Collapse Of Human Civilisation

If aliens exist, then where are they?

The universe is endlessly huge and yet we cannot find life anywhere. Scientist call this contradiction, “The Fermi Paradox”.

According to this argument, there are billions of stars in the galaxy that are similar to the Sun, and many of these stars are billions of years older than our Solar system.

Based on the laws of simple probability, some of these star systems must have Earth-like planets, and if the Earth is common, then some of these planets may have already developed intelligent life.

“Some of these civilisations may have developed interstellar travel, a step the Earth is investigating now. Even at the slow pace of currently envisioned interstellar travel, the Milky Way galaxy could be completely traversed in a few million years,” said Italian- American Physicist Enrico Fermi.

According to this line of reasoning, our planet should have already been visited by extraterrestrial creatures.

The conversation then developed and continued into other topics, until during lunch one day Fermi suddenly said, “But where is everybody?”

And, what if we do find alien life tomorrow? Turns out, rather than being excited about it, we should be worried.

The existence of alien life would be very bad news for us humans.

Watch to know why this news, that sounds so exciting, can be so catastrophic!
