Want To Take A Solo Trip From Delhi To Hong Kong To Bangkok: Make Sure To Follow These Steps

Planning a trip to anywhere be no less than a nightmare what with the different number of things that one must deal with. From booking the tickets to dealing with visa, getting an affordable hotel and of course doing the appropriate amount of sightseeing.

But in all this, taking a solo trip to anywhere is abound with various pros and cons. The most convincing proof a solo trip is the independence and freedom you get.

No planning, no compromises, no adjustments or anything. You can spend as much or as little as you want and do practically everything you have always wanted to without any judgments or grumbling from anyone else.

Especially for a person who has a steady job and just wants to take some time away from the hustle and bustle of daily life, a solo trip is nothing short of heaven.

Now, if you want to take a short solo trip, then may I put forward an amazing vacation that allows you to see not just one but 2 very beautiful and amazing locations?!

Yes, I am talking of a 5-day trip that takes you from the crazy life of Delhi to the breezy locales of Hong Kong to the vibrant city that is Bangkok.

When taking such a trip, there are a couple of things that you need to keep in mind and some steps that you must follow. Let me tell you of what they are:

bangkok

1. Delhi to Hong Kong is not that difficult, with how popular of a destination Hong Kong is, you can find a number of airlines that vary across budgets.

But if you want a truly money’s worth airline, then book the Singapore Airlines when travelling from Delhi to Hong Kong.

The airfare is within budget with this one and the seats are not all that bad considering the price.

2. Indian travelers do not need a Visa for Hong Kong if their stay is less than 14 days but make sure you have your valid travel documents at the ready because those will be needed.

3. One tip, make sure you book either a late night or very early morning flight. You have better chances of getting a good seat and a smooth flight during those times than if you book at peak times like afternoon or evenings.

4. Now, you don’t want to stay more than 2 or 3 days in Hong Kong, so make sure that you have a small list of must see places there ready.

Also take into account of when you are travelling, as Spring and Autumn time is considered the best to visit here.

5. Now as for hotel in Hong Kong, don’t splurge too much and get a very expensive hotel. A good recommendation for such a short stay would be the Best Western Hotel. It has great location, is in a good area which makes it safe for solo travelers and have pretty sweet amenities.

6. With the Hong Kong leg of the trip coming to an end, it is time to arrange the transport from there to Bangkok. A good airline to travel from Hong Kong to Bangkok is the Royal Jordanian, which works very well as it straight flight and easy on the pocket.

7. The best part about Hong Kong and Bangkok is the fact that we don’t need to worry about visas and their fees and preparing for it all in advance. Bangkok gives visa on arrival to Indian passport and doesn’t that just make it a wonderful place to be.

8. Having arrived in Bangkok, I would say that all that saving you did earlier? Well it is going to come in handy as you should definitely stay at the Amari Watergate Bangkok The reviews for the most part of this hotel are great, and for a 5-star hotel, you are getting a steal with what prices their rooms are at.

9. So now for Bangkok, I must recommend that you visit The Grand Palace, Wat Pho and Wat Arun. Make sure to wear appropriate clothing as revealing clothes are considered disrespectful in certain places.

10. Also, their Floating Market and National Museum are a must see to get a glimpse of the real Bangkok. And of course, you should surely visit their malls and Khao San Road to get some awesome experiences.

Hope this helps in making your trip a bit easier, and of course don’t be afraid to go a little away from the road and explore the unexplored. After all, that is the best part of travelling solo, isn’t it? Having no one to answer to.
