Majed Veysel, the famous young architect who is renowned in his field for his contribution towards art through his brilliant photography skills which captures beautiful architecture in monochrome classic colours of black and white. His skills and creativity have been applauded by many. Majed has combined the art of architecture and photography beautifully as the main subjects of his photography are old buildings, monuments, bridges, and sculptures. His works of art clearly display his passion for both architecture as well as photography which he had developed since a very young age.
The reason behind his choosing the colours black and white to portray his art is very smile. Majed believes that black and white photography helps him to express his emotions, feelings and thoughts in a much clear manner than any other colours. According to him, these traditional colours manage to show the real and natural beauty of the object in a much more detailed manner. Majed Veysel is one of the very few artists who manage to make the world look beautiful and different in just black and white.
The artist has been quite a social media favourite with his Instagram account having more than 105 thousand followers. He makes it a point to post all his photographs in his account to give free and open access to people who are interested in either architecture or photography. The huge fan following that he has garnered through social media is a witness of his mind-blowing creativity and his social media influencing skills. His work clearly shows that he is extremely talented and good at what he does. He is an inspiration for all those who wish to make a career out of their passion.
Born in Aleppo, Syria, Majed attended the American school in Aleppo before joining the Bahcesehir University in Istanbul, Turkey, from where he graduated with a degree on architecture in the year 2017. Later, he moved to Italy to attain his Master’s degree in Architecture for Sustainable Design. Apart from his prominent educational qualifications, Majed interned under the renowned firm, S.B.ARCH. Bargone Associati in Rome and Acimert Mimarlik – AAC which is situated in Istanbul, Turkey. He also worked for Eroglu Holding under the position of a Site Construction Architect.
His dedication and sincerity towards his work has earned his awards and publications from eminent institutions. His works have been previously published in Adobe Publications in the year 2017 and other forums like Thrive Global, Yahoo News, etc. He has received a plethora of awards such as Ambassador Prize for his architecture project Versace Headquarters in Rome Italy, BAU International Academy of Rome in May in the year 2016, and the Lumion Certification Visualization Software Built for Architecture by FGA Mimarlık in the year 2015. He is also a distinguished member of Chamber of Architects of Turkey. His most famous work includes his contribution towards the construction of Skyland Istanbul, which is the highest building in Turkey.
Majed’s love for travelling is also showcased in his work since his photographs are taken across various countries like Turkey, Italy, France, Austria, Switzerland, etc. At such a young age he has successfully made a mark for himself. His idea that pictures in black and white influence people to find deeper meaning in the pictures is simple yet interesting. Despite such accomplishment, he is just at the start of his journey. He plans on achieving much more and marking his place in the entire world with his work and keep telling people his stories and thoughts through his photographs.
