In Pics: This Is How Amazon Delivers Packages To The Top Of The World, Leh

It's been 9 months since Amazon started quick delivery services on the highest point in the world: Leh!

Near India’s border with China, Leh seems like a traveller’s paradise with its scenic beauty but still seems to be left behind by modern technology. Availability of regular internet and mobile network seems to be a distant dream in the snowy region.

Amazon has spread its reach from Leh to Lakshadweep in recent years and after Walmart announced its plans to acquire a controlling interest in Flipkart they are in their best position to challenge for the wallets of Indian customers.

Fortunately for Amazon, monks and local soldiers on the border are among the big customers in Leh.
