9 Ways to Ultimate Success. Follow all and you won’t have to read this article again.

i-can-and-i-will

At times during the day, we sit back and try to analyze our life. We tend to dig into never ending thoughts of our past or future. We try to find answers to baffling questions like- why we failed or how do we succeed or how despite of all our efforts, we don’t excel. Sometimes, no matter what we have accomplished or how experienced we are, we can all use some inspiration to get us going.

We go through various obstacles every once in a while. Some are inevitable and some we let happen considering them ‘inevitable’. I feel that we can’t control everything by planning efficiently but we still can achieve a lot by making use of everything at our disposal. Not everything can be surrendered to destiny or by quoting “Go with the flow”. I once heard that only a dead fish goes with the flow, not the fish who wants to make its own way to the destination. Are you a dead fish? Certainly not!

Your success is directly proportional to how you deal with a failure. It’s not easy to get up when you fall down but it doesn’t imply that you can’t ever get up. Your success is majorly dependent on your hard work and dedication. But don’t underestimate the power of luck as well. There is plenty of luck to go around; you just need to keep your hand raised until it’s your turn. Keep trying until you succeed.

There are various ways to motivate yourself if you are facing a failure or maybe a mental breakdown.

Some of these will resonate with you.

1. Be pro-active:

It means creating or controlling a situation (which can be controlled) rather than just responding to it after it has happened. It means a person acts in advance rather than just reacting to a situation. Pro Active people do not require to be informed about what is expected of them rather they are ready beforehand. This helps to prepare for them for uncertain future and also to have an edge over others. Such people believe in prevention rather than cure.

“The most difficult thing is the decision to act, the rest is merely tenacity.” –Amelia Earhart

 2. Quit waiting:

We have a habit of waiting or lingering upon things by quoting ‘Good things take time’ or ‘Right things happen on the right time’. I do believe in such ideologies but I firmly believe that I’m the driver and not a mere passenger of my life. I set the course and my destination. I don’t sit and wait for things to happen. I’d rather make them happen. I wonder what would have happened if Gandhi Ji hadn’t aroused the will among Indians for freedom and just sat around waiting for the right time.

“Do what you can, where you are, with what you have.” –Teddy Roosevelt

 3. Get confident:

Confidence is the stimulator and accelerator towards success. You can’t crack an interview if you aren’t confident enough that you are a suitable candidate. To prove others that you are deserving, you have to first be be confident that you are.

Go confidently in the direction of your dreams.  Live the life you have imagined.” –Henry David Thoreau

 4. Be inquisitive:

Ask yourself questions every now and then. Not just about your failures or success, but also regarding every day pitfalls. If you aren’t satisfied with your job, ask yourself what is lacking or what drives this emotion in you. Such questions will stimulate easy answers to your failures. You know most about yourself than anyone else. It is very important to know yourself and work in order to make yourself better.

“Ask and it will be given to you; search, and you will find; knock and the door will be opened for you.” –Jesus

 5. Happiness is the key:

Never do a thing that doesn’t make you happy. Here I mean that do not force yourself into any so at you are passionate about. Legend says that doing what makes you happy will make you most successful. Identifyrt of work that doesn’t satisfy you. Even if a job is paying you great, it can’t make you satisfied if it’s not why our passions and make a career out of them. I’d suggest you not to be too generous here. Passionate bathroom singing doesn’t qualify as a career option!

“Happiness is not something readymade.  It comes from your own actions.” –Dalai Lama

 6. Master your time:

One who can’t value time, can never excel. Every day of your life must have a purpose. You might be good at ‘to-do list’ technique but try pinning down ‘I-did today list’ and you will realize how fruitful your day was. Make a routine and follow it religiously. One who doesn’t make good use of time will pay the consequences.

It is rightly said, “Make hay while the sun shines.”

 7. Learn and use:

Our elders constantly stress upon the importance of learning from failures. If only we pay a heed to what they say! Each failure is a learning experience and takes us one step closer to success. It is like carving a way out to success. Don’t give a damn about one stupid failure, accept it and be grateful that it taught you something you didn’t know. Sounds too sugary but trust me, this is the right approach. Whining about it or being in denial will ONLY harm you.

“Every strike brings me closer to the next home run.” –Babe Ruth

 8. Believe and pursue:

We all have dreams. Dreams which others generally don’t understand or believe in. Point is if you believe in them! If for a second you’ll doubt yourself, you have already accepted defeat my friend! Move towards your destination believing that you are already there. Have a feel of it and know that you BELONG! Chasing your dreams madly is always better than chasing people.

“Whatever the mind of man can conceive and believe, it can achieve.” –Napoleon Hill

 9. Simplify your life:

Cut out the unnecessary baggage. Be kind to yourself and prioritize your life. If you know what matters to you and what your focus is, nothing can stop you from achieving it. Be self-motivated and indulge in perseverance. Avoid gossips or petty issues of everyday life. Reward yourself with good hobbies or getaways. This is your life, live stress-free and make the most of everyday.
