Priyanka Chopra and Nick Jonas have been dating for some time now but did you expect this engagement ceremony to be on the cards so quickly? Nobody did!
Reportedly, it all started at the Met Gala that they attended last year in 2017.
Some people say it’s music that got them closer while others say that it’s their friends who played the cupid.
The ‘roka’ ceremony was held at a Mumbai Hotel on Saturday 18th August 2018. By the way, Nick Jonas has won several hearts: the man has followed all the Indian rituals just for his lady love Priyanka Chopra.
Imagine how confused he might be when he was made to hold betel leaves in his hand and sit while some pandit is chanting mantras and about fifty people (or more) are just staring at him.
There are many people out there who call Priyanka Chopra and Nick Jonas out for their age difference. Don’t you think you need to realise that it’s 2018?
As long as these two are happy (which they clearly are), how does it even minutely effect any of us that Nick is 10 years younger to Priyanka?
You know this is the problem with the Indian youth. We just care too much about irrelevant things.
We care that Nick is younger to Priyanka, but we don’t have the heart in us to take a step and make a donation towards the Kerala Floods, something that is actually relevant. How are we any different from our pados waali aunties?

Every single person in this world cares about ‘log kya kahenge’. Admit it. And so probably even Priyanka did. And maybe that’s the reason their relationship was not as openly announced as Ranveer and Deepika’s, for example.
In fact, there was absolutely nothing wrong with keeping their relationship under wraps, or their private life exclusively private, especially in today’s era where the media industry would literally publish anything for some extra TRPs.

But is dating for 6-7 months enough to decide whether one is the apt life-partner? – another opinion that people have. Living in India, one should never have that opinion.
I mean, come on, we have successful arranged marriages in India. Yes, SUCCESSFUL ARRANGED MARRIAGES exist. And here they are, clearly in love.
Anyway, how do you know that they’ve been dating only for 6-7 months? Nobody said it officially as to how long have they been dating. What is this nosy business?
Guys, Priyanka Chopra is engaged. She is about to get married!!! Well, that information is going to take some time to sink in.
One after the other, all our favourite Bollywood stars are tying the knots. Show some love to Priyanka and Nick. Hopefully, Ranveer and Deepika are up next!
