5 Interesting Revelations From The Elon Musk Biography

elon musk

Elon Musk is perhaps one of the most controversial figures in today’s time. Once considered to be a prodigy genius and seen as a hero figure, now is most often being trolled or mocked for his behaviours, business decisions and erratic statements.

On Tuesday, biographer Walter Isaacson released Elon Musk’s biography titled the name as the man himself. Isaacson is incidentally also behind the bestselling biography of the Apple co-founder Steve Job.

The book and excerpts from it have been making the rounds for a few days now, but having been officially released here are some of the interesting revelations that it has made.

Musk On ‘Woke Mind Virus’

“Unless the woke mind virus (derogatory term used for progressive politics and culture), which is fundamentally anti-science, anti-merit, and anti-human in general, is stopped, civilization will never become multiplanetary” Musk said to Isaacson in the biography.

Musk’s Secret Twins

As per the book Elon Musk has secret twins with Neuralink executive Shivon Zilis after she expressed wanting children. He encouraged her decision citing how population decline has to be fought and offered his sperm so that she could have kids.

The twins were born in 2021 through IVF just a few days before Musk’s own child with his partner Grimes, a Canadian singer was born.

Elon Musk’s xAI Company

Apparently, the company xAI came about because Musk was scared of underpopulation. Isaacson in his book wrote “The amount of human intelligence, he noted, was leveling off because people were not having enough children. Meanwhile, the amount of computer intelligence was going up exponentially.”

He further said that Musk thinks “at some point, biological brainpower would be dwarfed by digital brainpower.”

Musk’s Father

Sources have stated how Musk’s father was emotionally and physically abusive along with being racist toward black people. A friend told the author that when Musk met his father in 2016, “It was the only time I had ever seen Elon’s hands shaking.”

Isaacson writes, “There are certain people who occupy a demon’s corner of Musk’s head space. They trigger him, turn him dark, and rouse a cold anger. His father is number one.”

The book states how Errol Musk was a big source of trauma for him and that “He developed into a tough yet vulnerable man-child with an exceedingly high tolerance for risk, a craving for drama, an epic sense of mission, and a maniacal intensity that was callous and at times destructive.”

Demon-Like Outbursts

Isaacson wrote how Musk often gets “demon-like” outbursts which he “hardly remember” afterward. “And the amazing thing is, after he’s gone dark and been demon-like and really tough on people, he’ll snap out of it. And then I’ll ask him, ‘What was that about?’ and he hardly remembers it,” he wrote.
