With hardly a few months left for the Lok Sabha elections, sly political moves don’t come off as a surprise. This is the time where winning over people is of the utmost importance for the political parties.

As the Finance Ministers of different states announced the respective state budgets, there were plenty of incentives for the people. If you take a quick glance at the respective state budgets, it is clear that the budgets were made specifically for the elections.

It is imperative at this time for the political parties to create an impression in the minds of the people and win their vote. 

From offering gold to setting up gaushalas, funds are allocated to a number of weird things, which normally doesn’t happen.

Such budget allocations are bound to make a difference in the results. Thus, it is no surprise to see BJP, Congress or even regional parties offering incentives to the people.
