The Indian subcontinent is home to three of the largest armies on Earth.
Not only are the armies of India, Pakistan and China both larger in personnel than the U.S. Army, but they have stood at alert facing one another since the dissolution of the British Indian Army in 1947.
Although India has fought four battles with Pakistan since Independence, there have also been clashes with China in 1962 and 1967 which have time and again proven why the Indian army is one of the best in the world.
