As the industry spans several regions across the country, Bollywood – the biggest film industry in India shares a major viewership and fan base in the country.

Plagiarism refers to the unethical practice of purporting somebody else’s work as yours, without giving them the due credit or acknowledging their part in the project. Plagiarism is a major concern in the field of the arts and the major industry of Bollywood is no stranger to the accusations.

Plagiarism accusations ranging from similar storylines, dialogues, names, and even complete scenes being lifted from other movies have served as controversies in Bollywood.
