No one thought that BJP would make Yogi Adityanath the Chief Minister of Uttar Pradesh. But now that he has achieved what was thought to be impossible for him, we bring to you our speculations about the future of Yogi Adityanath.
Yogi Adityanath has been in the news for wrong, right and no reason. Before becoming the Chief Minister of Uttar Pradesh, he was successful in making every Indian cringe with just his words. But since his ascend to the throne, Yogi has tried to change his image by doing some good deeds which were really not expected from him.
Why this change? Why this sudden need to be good?
Some are speculating that Yogi might turn out to be a Prime Ministerial candidate for BJP in 2024 or later. His rise is similar to that of Modi who was once seen as a communal leader but in due time proved himself to be otherwise (at least on the surface).
2. Re-election on the cards
Some believe that it’s a wait and watch game for Yogi Adityanath. They think that the secular, pro-development governance is a garb that will eventually give way to his pro-Hindu policies. Hence, it all depends on Yogi staying on the right course to get re-elected. No BJP leader has ever been re-elected as CM in Uttar Pradesh. The strategic importance of Uttar Pradesh in the politics of the country is as important as King’s Landing to Westeros. If Yogi is successful in getting Uttar Pradesh again, it’ll be joyous ride ahead for him.
His biggest advantage during elections will be his Hindu Vahini that would work alongside the BJP cadres and RSS. Thus, Yogi is not entirely dependent on BJP when it comes to elections or carrying out crazy schemes like Anti-Romeo Squad.
3. Yogi-Modi Relations- With the rise of Yogi what will happen to Modi
Yogi Adityanath and Narendra Modi will one day undertake the same battle which Modi and Advani once undertook. While one will not be ready to quit the throne the other will be more than willing to ascend it. If Yogi is smart, he will do what Modi did to oust Advani- get the entire party to support him. Yogi will have to find himself his Amit Shah soon enough then.

4. Finding His Own Loyalists
Yogi’s appointment did not sit well with a huge chunk of BJP leaders. He was neither the head of UP- BJP nor did he hold any other office of profit within the state. His selection has also dented Modi’s secular image in the minds of the urban middle class.
5. Playmaker RSS
Thus, it is safe to say that Yogi bullied his way to the chair and now that he truly has power a lot of party workers will be shown the door. They will be replaced by Yogi approved, RSS favoring leaders. This invariably means that Hindutva sentiment is going to rise.
Be it Yogi or Modi it is the power hub at Nagpur that controls them. RSS is the power behind Yogi. No man is greater than the RSS and as long as Yogi adheres to their philosophy he is here to stay.

If not, he can comfortably go back to Gorakhpur and save India from having another Prime Minister with poor spoken English skills.
