Feminism and Bollywood have a hate-hate relationship. There’s not enough space for the portrayal of independent women or women-centric roles.

However, there still are movies that need a loud applause for breaking the non-existent barrier and coming out of their shells to challenge Bollywood. So I made a listicle.

Here are a few movies which are feminist, and rightly so, in nature:
