Head to Chor Bazaar a.k.a. the thief market on Sundays.

Also known as Kabaadi (junk) Bazaar, it is located in the Daryaganj area extending up to the Jama Masjid.

You can buy amazing stuff from here at dirt cheap price and you get to do awesome things at the same time.

A few booksellers of this market even sell xerox copies of notes from coaching institutes.

The bundle of notes is kept in a rickshaw and only a few sets are displayed to avoid easy detection and to ensure a swift getaway in case of a raid.

Camera Shopping

This flea market starts from the wee hours around 4:30 am. That is when you get the best stuff.

You can actually buy DSLRs like Nikon and Canon for around 3500 rupees.

Many foreigners can be spotted at this time buying camera and accessories in here.

All you need is a good eye for the authentic stuff and you are good to go.

 Cell phones and memory card

Other than the cameras and accessories, one can buy second hand phones, Chinese phones or even an Apple Iphone for as low as 500 bucks.

Memory cards, pen drives, hard disk drives, batteries. Name it, they have it.

No warranty or guarantee on any of the stuff though! Only a verbal assurance.

Sports Equipment

For the sporty ones, you can buy cricket and gym equipment for lowest of the prices.

Cricket bats, baseball bats, rackets, balls, gloves, weights, dumbbells, safety pads.

This market is one of the only places in Delhi where a variety of stuff is available just for the guys.

Daryaganj Sunday Market

The Sunday street market where you can actually buy books using a weighing scale.

Everything ranging from fashion magazines, comics, vintage and Bollywood posters, used books is sold here at lowest of prices.

A heaven for the book lovers. Bargain hard, check the missing pages and you are good to go.

Shoes and Slippers

Girls!! Craving to buy those designer shoes for a long time? Buy its copy here for unbelievably low prices.

Shoes, sandals, slippers in different materials.

It’s like a galaxy of shoes revolving around in here. Check every piece carefully and bargain hard.

Grab whatever you can for dirt cheap prices. Half used perfume bottles, computers, gaming consoles, after shaves, photo frames, hardware, electronics, kitchen ware.

 Paranthe Wali Gali

After countless hours of shopping, you definitely need some grub!

Head to the Paranthe Wali Gali nearby for the stuffed deep fried paranthas served with tangiest and the spiciest of the chutneys.

Shops like Pt. Gaya Prasad Shiv Charan offers paranthas like Kaju Paranthas, Mixed Paranthas with Aloo Sabzi, Sitafal Sabzi and chutneys. Drooling already?

It is one of the few places open on Sundays in this area.

 Some more grub

Head to Al Jawahar near Jama Masjid for the fresh Nihari, Paya, Khamiri Rotis, Mutton Biryani, Butter Chicken, and Shami Kebabs.

This place is a flavor den for all the Non-Vegetarians.

The Vegetarians can head to one of the popular places in the area, Kake Di Hatti And Gianis. These places are worth every rupee.

The choley bhature, lassi and faalooda is to die for. Again, all available for really nominal prices.

Khari Baoli

Just a minute away from these two eating joints is Khari Baoli, Asia’s largest wholesale spice market.

On Sundays, almost all the shops are closed and the spices are sold on the street stalls instead.

This place has everything: whole spices, ground spices, mango candies, organic mouth freshening candies, pickles, dry fruits.

High quality spices at lowest of the prices.

Photography

This whole area in Old Delhi is the best for the ones looking for street photography opportunities. One can also head to the historical and religious places like Jama Masjid, Fatehpuri Masjid, and Sheesh Ganj Gurudwara to capture that perfect shot.
