So we’re back with another chapter of Friendly Fridays with model and actor Madhura Naik who in her own words is an incurable romantic water nymph who believes in unicorns and is an aesthetic voyager who’s also an advocate for animal rights.

And trust us, she’s as fancy as her description.

She’s portrayed the role of a doctor in Dill Mill Gayye, and of course the role of fashion diva she pulled off so effortlessly.

So without much ado, let’s bring you the chat that ensued when we caught up with her-

Team ED: From Kahaani Ghar Ghar Kii to Fear Factor, describe your journey in 3 words.

Madhura: Absolutely mind boggling!

Team ED: Your choice of a glamorous dressup, LBD or saree?

Madhura: Undoubtedly an LBD

Team ED: What’s your comfort food?

Madhura: Chinese takeouts. Simply love them.

Team ED: What’s your ideal location for a photoshoot?

Madura: Maldives. It’s gorgeous.

Team ED: Are you a cat person or a dog person?

Madhura: I’m an animal person hahaha. Be it cats, dogs, horses or guinea pigs… I just love animals.

Team ED: One advice you wish you had received when you stepped into the industry?

Madhura: One advice I definitely wish I received was to keep patience.

Team ED: One rumour about the fashion industry you want to dismiss?

Madhura: I don’t really bother much about rumours or read into them.

Team ED: What’s the one song that tugs your heart strings?

Madhura: At the moment it is A Sky Full of Stars by Coldplay.

Team ED: What is the one quality you look for in a friend?

Madhura: Loyalty is an essential quality I believe.

Team ED: If we were to check your browser history, what are the last 3 links we would find?

Madhura: Times of India Twitter, my fashion line Moulin’s Facebook page and a leopard baboon compassion video on YouTube!

Team ED: And finally, any parting words to ED readers?

Madhura: Keep reading guys. Stop scooping, get smart!

Also, parting advice, keep it desi! Hint:

With that, it’s a wrap of this fashionable edition of Friendly Fridays. We will be back again next week, with some more fun and friendly chats. Hope you enjoyed it as much as we did.

See you again next week, till then, adios!
