All About The Alleged Gangsters Who Shot Down Sidhu Moose Wala

Shubdeep Singh Sidhu Moose Wala, a noted Punjabi singer, and Congress leader was shot dead in a firing incident in Mansa district on Sunday.

The incident took place a day after the Punjab Police ordered the withdrawal of his security along with more than 420 others, including former MLAs, Jathedars of two Takhts, Deras’ leaders, and police personnel.

‘Moose Wala received multiple bullet injuries’

According to Mansa Senior Superintendent of Police Gaurav Toora, two cars halted Sidhu Moose Wala’s car after heavy gunfire in which he was shot numerous times.

“People present with him also got bullet injuries and they have been referred to Patiala for further treatment,” he said.

One of two men who were severely injured in the shooting, along with Moose Wala, also died as a result of his injuries. The assailants allegedly fired at least 30 rounds on his vehicle.

According to reports, the 28-year-old singer was shot at least ten times near a temple in the village of Jhawahar Ke. In a serious condition, Moose Wala was transported to the civic hospital in Mansa, where he was pronounced dead.

According to Toora, preliminary inquiry indicates that there is an inter-gang dispute adding that Sidhu Moose Wala did not bring his bulletproof car and gunmen that day.

“FIR is being registered. We will take immediate action against the gangster and persons involved,” he added.

Investigation And Enquiry 

Six people have been arrested in connection with the murder, according to reports. Sidhu’s father has asked for an investigation to be conducted by a sitting judge of the High Court, with the investigation being handed over to the CBI or the NIA.

Officers who leaked letters indicating security withdrawal were also held responsible, according to the demands. All of the demands have now been accepted by the CM. A special investigative team has been formed by Punjab Police to look into the incident.

Canada-Based Gangster Takes Charge Of The Murder

Goldy Brar, a Canada-based gangster, claimed responsibility for his murder shortly after his death. He said that he, together with imprisoned mobster Lawrence Bishnoi, planned the assassination since the singer’s name was linked to the assassination of Akali leader Vicky Middukhera and his cousin Gurlal Brar. Last year, Middukher was killed in Mohali, while Brar was killed in Chandigarh.

Who Is Goldy Brar?

Satinder Singh, aka Goldy Brar, is a close friend of mobster Lawrence Bishnoi. He was a part of an extortion ring operating in the state.

He is suspected of being involved in the assassination of Youth Congress leader Gurlal Pehalwan. He is presently based in Canada and runs his business through a Punjabi module. Brar is a native of the state’s Faridkot area.

Rivalry And Anticipated Reason For Murder

Recently, a turf war has erupted between Lawrence Bishnoi’s gang and that of deceased mobster Davinder Bambiha in Punjab, as well as the neighboring state of Haryana and the national capital of Delhi.

Goldy Brar, a close associate of Bishnoi, was running an extortion ring at his request. Both gangs have been fighting a brutal battle in the state for some years, and they frequently attack each other’s men. Lucky Patial, who is currently imprisoned in Armenia, is said to be the leader of the Bambiha gang.

The murder of Moosewala was linked to the assassination of SAD politician Vicky Middukhera, according to Punjab Director General of Police (DGP) V K Bhawra.

According to a social media post made by Goldy Brar, Moosewala’s murder was a revenge killing carried out to avenge the murder of Middukhera. Muddukhera’s murder had previously been blamed on the Bambiha gang.

In July of last year, Goldy Brar’s cousin Gurlal Brar was murdered outside a disc in Chandigarh’s Industrial sector. Gurlal was Bishnoi’s close ally. To avenge the killing of Youth Congress leader Gurlal Pahalwan, Bishnoi’s group allegedly assassinated him in Faridkot. The key suspect in the murder was Goldy Brar. He supposedly fled to Canada in 2021 shortly after.

While there is no official statement yet released to the press regarding Brar’s link to the murder, his social media post is being widely circulated and quick justice is demanded.

The Punjab government has assured Sidhu’s family of strict actions to be taken against the culprits. While the investigation goes on, it is sad to see how a young talent has to lose his life due to some alleged gang war.
