6 Traffic Lights India Desperately Needs

A while back, Vienna’s streets got a little more gay-friendly.

Confused? This is what happened…                                                                                                                  landscape-1431457785-gty-vienna-traffic-150512

In a move that officially made them into a really open-minded city in the world, Vienna in Austria had replaced the little male figures on traffic lights with happy LGBT couples.  This measure was taken to promote the Austrian capital as an LGBT-friendly city as well as improve the road safety by attracting the attention of drivers and pedestrians. Check it out here.

Through any way you look at it, this move is incredible.

Following suit we at ED Times designed this series of traffic lights that India desperately needs with well umm…our daily dose of experiences with people having some epic motoring skills. You agree?

1. When I see someone driving and texting:

Heard of voice messages, duh?

2. When I see someone not using their car signals:

Google search: turn signal

A mysterious stick like object next to the steering wheel. PURPOSE UNKNOWN.

3. When people use high beam:

Oh, I see! Your car didn’t come with ‘low beam’, is it?

4. When people honk unnecessarily:

Yea HONK; it’s your birthright, isn’t it?

5. When someone takes two spaces in a parking lot:

Yea buddy *silent applause* you nailed it!
6. When people don’t drive in a lane:

Lane driving? Say Whaat? A concept from Mars?

I know I know. You’ve always longed to say all of this.

But let’s just hope and pray that the Indian authorities take a hint and follow suit.

Till then, adios! And drive safely!
