We sit by our television sets in big comfortable rooms and enjoy the luxuries of life but do we think of other marginalized people who are cornered from the mainstream? We neglect them and carry on with our lives but is this attitude justified?

We must take into consideration the people who work for providing us comforts. There are numerous laborers who work tirelessly to feed their loved ones. Imagine a situation where you won’t find a mason for getting your house renovated. The reason may be any, but the fact is that they are really important for us.

In the quest of knowing how the underprivileged make their ends meet, we at ED went to a construction site near Rajouri Garden (West Delhi). People dwelling there in a park could be seen working hard day and night to earn a living.

Even though they lead tough lives, their faces are illuminated with charm and joy with a pinch of satisfaction.  Let us have a look at what we saw there.
