Indian Women Should Not Watch Porn Or Masturbate

-

By Sakshi Kanodia

Remember that scene in F.R.I.E.N.D.S. where Monica was teaching Chandler how to pleasure a woman to her fullest by demonstrating the erogenous zones of a woman and got stuck on 7!!! Gosh!!!

For me, it was not too surprising to observe that the characters were so comfortable with conversing about sex amongst them even when there were guys in their group.

The girls not only discussed their favourite sex positions but also how many times they did it and much more.

The American T.V. scenario is quite different from the Indian picture.

TABOO’S DEPICTION

In our ostensible modern Indian society, sex and everything related to it is such a taboo, especially for women.

The modern day bhartiya naari, who is an open-minded, independent figure, when asked about anything related to sex, shies away from society. If one hears such words from a girl’s mouth, Oh God!, havoc is created; she is not the ‘Perfect’ girl. She is unfit for our society.

What wrong did she do? Oh! Talked about virginity, or how good or bad the guy was in bed or she likes to pleasure herself?

Wow! Isn’t this concept of judging a girl fantastic? Like seriously, people! Stop judging a girl who is trying to explore something new which the society does not approve of apparently.

What is really wrong with a girl trying to find sexual relief before having sex and that also after marriage?

It is amusing to see that a girl needs the sanction of the society to use her genitals for her pleasure in her bedroom.

BOYS AND GIRLS: CHAUVINISM

Generally speaking, every Indian parent knows or does have an intuition that their boys are watching porn or are doing something for stress relief.

And an even more humorous and demeaning fact is that when boys watch porn and masturbate, then people say, “ladka hamara bada ho gya!” or that “beta bathroom mein shampoo gira reh gya”.

My only question is that why is it expected from them to have sexual relief after a certain age but when we girls do it we are treated as downtrodden pieces of junk? On the same time, everyone is pretty cool with like ‘apna haath jagannath‘.

Girls aren’t meant to practice, joke or talk about sex. They are supposed to shut their eyes, ears and lips to such sexual desires but once they get married they are supposed to jump into bed on their wedding night and have intercourse with their newly-wedded husband.

It’s like when a boy is a virgin in college, he is laughed at by his friends and encouraged to lose it. But when a girl loses her virginity before marriage she is characterless or already-used.

Dear society,

Wake up! The world has moved on far beyond, you should too.

It’s not wrong if a girl watches porn or talks about sex. Girls have urges too. Our lady parts are for us, not for our future husbands.

  1. This is bull shit.. Wake up woman and do not try to bring western culture in India to dilapidate society… And if you are frustrated, get a life don’t make others life miserable. There are lot of problems to be solved apart from masturbation…

    • First of all its “others’ lives” bhaiaji and not others life.
Also, get your facts correct because I don’t think you actually comprehend what masturbation actually is. It is not really limited by the boundaries of any countries or any zones in this regard.
And may I ask you to elaborate exactly how does a woman masturbating dilapidate our Indian society and culture?
Maybe you haven’t really heard of the kama sutra or the coupling paintings and statues at the various indian temples.
This article was solely and pointedly written to warn the world of people like you who think that a woman masturbating will bring the world to an end. I am not frustrated my dear but I definitely think that you are if you really think that a woman does not have the right to masturbate.
P.S. I would just like to thank you though because you really think that my writing in this article has the potential and the capacity to reach out to so many people that it may make “others’ lives miserable”.

  2. @Sakshi Kanodia
I enjoy reading these articles since I vote for women empowerment. It is good to see in modern times Indian girls opening up to sex and female sexual desires. In ancient India sex was open but during the middle ages because of Mughals etc sex came to be repressed. But Indian girls are slowly becoming bold and open to admit about watching porn or masturbating. They are also opening up when it comes to pre marital sex,one night stands, flings etc.Now girls have become bold enough to buy condoms from the pharmacy or discuss about their favourite sex positions. But many people are taking this in a negative sense since they always wanted to repress females in the society. The only way to change peoples mindset is to write such articles so people don’t consider these things taboo in the society. And a day might come when girls may become more bolder then boys in the society.

  3. I think Indian girls should become more bolder in the future as it will be good for them as well for the society. Indian girls if they are conservative or shy will only be repressed by men.Indian girls should be able to do all the things that indian men are allowed to do.The atrocities committed on indian women like rape Eve teasing etc are only because they remain quite and shy.I think if indian women come out in the open and be a little slutty, vulgar, shameless and dominating maybe it will be better for Indian society and many crimes against them may diminish.Being called a slut is supposed to be cool rather then demeaning and girls should not be shy to watch porn or discuss about sex openly or be scared to have one night stands, hook ups etc.Indian society is hypocritical. Men like bad girls but they try to control them by not giving them freedom. So the only way to go against this kind of men is to be a bold slutty and a little shameless Indian girl. And this will be good for the indian society as a whole.

  4. Women love watching high quality porn and more than boys. They like women on top sex position. Women like flavoured condoms. They like hot sex. They oogle at hot men in public openly and may masturbate thinking about them. They can also do some mild flirting with random guys they meet or go for hookups. They can drink, smoke or do dirty dancing. They can also drive cars and bikes at high speeds like boys. They can wear shorts in public. We should not judge women since they should be given the freedom to decide what they want.I think girls should be a little naughty since it makes them more appealing and certainly it should not bring down indian culture.Nowadays boys are more shy then women that’s why they find it intimidating. There are many women who buy condoms for their husbands or drive car for their husbands. Indian women have been the weaker sex for a longtime.Let them have some fun.

  5. I think it is more important to promote Indian girls to take up higher education and studies than giving importance to this parameter. This is not such a problematic situation as higher education for women in India is.
