Fast Forward: Future Vehicles 101

In the technology world, the latest advancement is only as good as the next thing coming down the line. The auto industry is constantly bringing us new technologies, whether it is for safety, entertainment, usefulness or simply for pure innovation.

Some of the latest innovations we’ve found have some truly exciting technologies that could revolutionize not just the automotive industry but human transportation in general. Here’s our list!

Following the list, we have a car whose name is clever as well. Yes we literally mean Clever! The vehicle has been developed by combined efforts of BMW and Bath University.

Clever is a three-wheeled vehicle with single wheel in the front. It is powered by a natural gas engine and measures 3 meters long, 1 meter wide and 1.4 meters tall with less than 400 kilograms of weight and focuses a lot on the issue of emissions and city driving.

Bevel-o-Car:  One fascinating aspect of the vehicle is its unique tilting design for stable, motorcycle-like cornering.
The designers created a hydraulic mechanism to automatically tilt the entire portion of the vehicles in front of the rear drive wheels. Tilting into the turn like a motorcycle moves the center of gravity inward and keeps the vehicle upright. The tilting is automatic and does not require any weight shifting from the driver and the steering is done with an automotive like wheel.

The vehicle will have two gas cylinders each contain 1.7 kilograms of CNG capable of accelerating from 0 to 60 km/h in around 7 seconds and going on to a top speed of approx. 100 km/h.

#WhackyFeature: An extra ordinary city ride and cornering experience with the help of angling mechanism.

AeroMobil is poised to turn the flying car into a reality with its new AeroMobil 3.0. The Aeromobil 3.0 is quite possibly the best looking flying with sleek aerodynamics to give you comfortable ride both on road and in air.The outer frame is made from carbon fibre allowing for strength as well as keeping it light. While not in use, the wings will retract behind the body and sit at a 3-degree incline for stability.

The Aeromobil 3.0 can feature a 100-horsepower, four-cylinder engine capable of a top flight speed of 100mph and with a 500 mile range. The vehicle will minimize driver distractions and it recognizes the driver and learns their preferences and driving style. The car can automatically sense the driver through establishing connection with their smartphones and can automatically set all settings including seat, steering and mirror positions as soon as driver enters the car. According to some exclusive information we’ve learnt that California based technological giant, Apple is also working on self-driving car after witnessing the thump that Google’s autonomous vehicle created.

Recently a Dodge van has been spotted in the streets of California with a white frame on the top with cameras and sensors attached to it like on an autonomous vehicle. The number plate is registered to Apple giving rise to speculation of autonomous vehicle being developed by Apple under code-name “Titan”. Apple won’t allow Google to enjoy undisputed championship anywhere, I wonder.

Apple hasn’t commented on it so vehicle could be nothing more than a company surveying local roads but we also anticipate a driverless car.

#WhackyFeature: Steering,, Gearbox, Brakes, Clutch. Everything is gone. Simply sit, enter your destination and let computers handle everything while you enjoy the comfortable drive.

Earlier Apple also introduced an app called Carplay which is an iPhone-powered in-car tech.
