3. Jhal Farezi, Ballygunge

Located in Ballygunge, Jhaal Farezi serves north Indian and Continental cuisines. The interiors are chic and classy. The space represents the colonial architecture that’s cloaked in white with an obvious hangover of the ‘British Raj’.

5. Chapter 2

This one is a new entry and it is already extremely popular. If you are on a tight budget and eager for a good meal, hit Chapter 2.

6. The Noodle Hub

Kolkata has almost carved out a unique variety of Bong-chinese for its inmates but if you’re in the mood for some spicy, authentic Chinese, this is your place. And, you have to pay peanuts for the lip smacking good food here. We’re not kidding, go check for yourself.

7. Since 2016

As the name suggests, this is a very new entry in the city’s buffet list, having made it’s debut only last year. However, its sumptuous 23 course buffet has easily made it a favorite among foodies on a budget.
