The experience of a solitary trek in the mountains might just be the life changing one you were always waiting for.

We at ED try to narrow down your search for the best treks all over India.

  • Chadar Trek, Leh

Arguably, there will be no list of best Indian treks without the Chadar Trek in it. With very low temperature and the fact that the trek is situated over the frozen Zanskar river, this is one of the most exciting high altitude treks in the world. This remarkable experience starts at Chilling and continues till Lingshed. The Buddhist heritage and richness in culture add to the majestic experience that Chadar is.

  •  Kudremukh Trek, Karnataka

Deriving its name from two Kannada words meaning Horse Face as the hill there resembles the same, Kudremukh is one of the most popular trekking destinations in India. Offering a gentle start that gets challenging towards the end, this is one trek both the professionals and novices can enjoy. The better fact is that it can be completed in a day!

One day, and a lifetime of memories isn’t bad, eh? ;)
